Nachdem sie sich f\u00fcr eine Karriere in der Medizin entschieden hatte, besuchte sie die Georgetown University f\u00fcr ihre Post-Baccalaureate-Arbeit und arbeitete dann f\u00fcr die Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC. Die restlichen Ausbildungsjahre wurden am IU Health-University Hospital, im Roudebush VA Medical Center, im IU Health Proton Therapy Center und im Riley Hospital for Children absolviert. W\u00e4hrend ihrer Assistenzzeit war Dr. Compton <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">wurde zum nationalen Vertreter f\u00fcr Radioonkologie im American College of Graduate Medical Education und im Residency Review Committee gew\u00e4hlt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus fungierte sie als stellvertretende Vorsitzende im Vorstand der Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Compton trat der Hancock Health-Familie erstmals im Jahr 2014 bei. Anschlie\u00dfend half sie bei der Er\u00f6ffnung des Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center im Jahr 2015, wo sie beim Aufbau der Abteilung f\u00fcr Radioonkologie half, die \u00fcber modernste Technologie \u00fcber TrueBeam und den Einsatz von intensit\u00e4tsmodulierten Ger\u00e4ten verf\u00fcgt Strahlentherapie (IMRT) und RapidArc-Techniken. In addition, she served as the Vice Chair on the executive panel of the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology.\r\n\r\nDr. Compton first joined the Hancock Health family in 2014. \u00a0She went on to help open the Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center in 2015 where she helped to establish the Radiation Oncology department which hosts state of the art technology via TrueBeam and use of intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and RapidArc techniques.
