At Hancock Health, we\u2019re starting the new year with a plan to make health possible for everyone we serve. To get you off on the right foot, we\u2019ve created a series of weekly health challenges to help you get healthy, stay healthy, and live healthy all year long.<\/p>\n

For the first three months of the year, our theme is Get Healthy. <\/em>Each week, we\u2019ll be featuring a different idea to help you improve your health. Get started and keep going, and you\u2019ll make a big difference in your life.<\/p>\n

When you complete a challenge, post a picture or video of your experience on your Facebook\uff0c<\/a>\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\uff0c \u6216\u8005 \u63a8\u7279<\/a> \u5e36\u6709\u4e3b\u984c\u6a19\u7c64\u7684\u5e33\u6236 #Hancock\u5065\u5eb7\u6311\u6230\u3002 <\/strong>You’ll be entered for a chance to win a $250 Hancock Wellness Center gift card.<\/p>\n

Get Started Getting Healthy<\/h2>\n

To help you stay on track, we\u2019ve created a downloadable calendar for January<\/u><\/a> so you can track your progress as you go. Here\u2019s what\u2019s in store for you this month:<\/p>\n

Week 1: Living a grateful life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll start with a challenge that will set the tone for everything we do this year: Start each day this week by writing down three things you\u2019re grateful for. It\u2019s an exercise that reminds you to remember all the good things in your life\u2014and it\u2019s a practice you may find puts you in a more mindful mood all day long.<\/p>\n

Week 2: Drink it up!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The average human adult body averages about 60% water. So that \u201cdrink eight glasses of water a day\u201d advice you\u2019ve probably heard is really all about keeping your body strong and fit. Now\u2019s the time to take heed of that advice. Eight glasses, every day, all week\u2014and keep it up all year long!<\/p>\n

Week 3: Get outside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, we know it\u2019s winter. Yes, we know it\u2019s cold out there. But that\u2019s all the more reason to get yourself up and moving. Bundle up and go for a walk or a run. Grab a kid and have a snowball fight. Even a little bit of physical activity is a good thing, and getting outside keeps you in touch with your world. Go for it!<\/p>\n

Week 4: A healthy self-image.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week\u2019s challenge is a bit of fun: We want you to surround yourself with images of what good health means to you. What does your goal look like? How do you picture healthy eating? Healthy aging? We want to know!<\/p>\n

Share your health journey.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be keeping up the health challenges all year long\u2014and we want to know how you\u2019re doing every step of the way.<\/p>\n
