Even with New Year\u2019s resolutions thoroughly proclaimed and the possibility of starting anew floating around in the air, it can be a tough time on your mental health. Just check off at least one of these activities every day for the next 30 days. Can you do it? We don\u2019t have any rewards to hand out if you succeed, but we\u2019ll bet you\u2019ll end up with a few healthy new habits and more knowledge about how best to care for your mental health this winter and beyond. Good luck!<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-heading core-heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-list core-list\">\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Drink eight glasses of water.<\/li><li>Go for a walk in your favorite nature preserve or woods.<\/li><li>Try a new recipe.<\/li><li>Create a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindbodygreen.com\/articles\/how-to-make-a-vision-board\">vision board<\/a> of things you want to do this year.<\/li><li>Get a new houseplant.<\/li><li>Have a fun movie night with your family or friends.<\/li><li>Make yourself a mug of <a href=\"https:\/\/celebratingsweets.com\/homemade-hot-chocolate\/#recipe\">homemade cocoa<\/a>.<\/li><li>Watch the sunset.<\/li><li>Keep a record of things for which you are grateful.<\/li><li>Stargaze with someone you love.<\/li><li>Thank someone.<\/li><li>Listen to a podcast about something that interests you. &nbsp;<\/li><li>Bake a treat for a neighbor or friend.<\/li><li>Read a book just for fun.<\/li><li>Create a rockin\u2019 playlist and have a dance party.<\/li><li>Sit and watch the snow fall.<\/li><li>Try a yoga class.<\/li><li>Make some art.<\/li><li>Enjoy a face mask or other form of pampering.<\/li><li>Learn something new or find a new hobby.<\/li><li>Call a friend just to chat.<\/li><li>Unplug for one hour.<\/li><li>Watch a silly show or movie and laugh.<\/li><li>Write in a <a href=\"https:\/\/hancockhealth.apgar.digital\/zh\/2020\/09\/revitalize-mental-health-with-pen-and-paper-five-ways-to-begin-journaling\/\">journal.<\/a><\/li><li>Set aside an hour to catch up on housekeeping or administrative tasks.<\/li><li>Do a <a href=\"https:\/\/hancockhealth.apgar.digital\/zh\/2020\/02\/simple-stress-relievers-for-busy-people\/\">deep-breathing<\/a> exercise.<\/li><li>Clean out your closets and donate what you no longer need.<\/li><li>Have a game night.<\/li><li>Find a mantra to use when mentally struggling and repeat it to yourself 10 times.<\/li><li>Treat yourself to an ultra-healthy and delicious breakfast.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress- core-\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"container mx-auto   wordpress-block wordpress-paragraph core-paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you\u2019re finished with the challenge, choose the activities that made a difference to you and incorporate them into your daily life.
